This Deep Dive  is designed to equip Belgian tech startups and scaleups with the insights and connections needed to explore and enter the Saudi Arabian market. Driven by a fast-paced innovation mindset and backed by significant public and private resources, Saudi Arabia offers strong opportunities for international companies ready to scale.

For this session we are very pleased to count on the support of Saudi Aramco, a major innovation player, including its initiatives Waed Ventures (Aramco's venture capital fund), Aramco Ventures (corporate venturing arm of Aramco) and LAB7 (deeptech venture building arm of Aramco).

The session will provide practical perspectives on doing business in the Kingdom, as well as an introduction to its rapidly evolving tech ecosystem. Special attention will be given to priority innovation areas, including digital transformation, energy, smart industry, and emerging technologies, where Belgian expertise can make a strong impact.

In addition, the workshop will feature testimonials from founders and CEOs of 3 Belgian companies already active in Saudi Arabia (Legalfly, Pitchtec and 555 Global Live Experience), sharing first-hand experiences on doing business locally, establishing a presence, and scaling operations in the Kingdom.

This workshop can also be considered as a preparatory step for companies interested in participating in the upcoming Belgian economic mission to Saudi Arabia (21–27 November 2026), presided over by Her Majesty the Queen, helping participants position themselves to seize opportunities and maximize their impact during the mission.
